New Year

In the image you can see a cartoon from the cover of a satirical magazine very well known in Spain. I like it very much cause they critizise everyone (politicians,the Pope, the church, God, Allah...) without shame. I remember reporting in this blog about that occasion in which the magazine was banned by a judge cause the magazine (according to that judge) exceeded the limits of speech freedom. They draw a cartoon representing the Spanish Prince and Princess fucking the doggy style while he admits not having worked in his whole life. In this occasion they represent Obama in the oval office. Previous Spanish president (J.M. Aznar) is below the desk with his mouth open wide waiting for performing a blow-job. He was well-known for pleasing willingly Bush's commands and wishes, and he's still largely despised in Spain because of that. Pointing at the guy below the table, the brand-new President is calling the previous one: "George? I think you missed something in your office!" This is the picture I wanted to show in the first post 2009. New year, new tenant in the White House and new expectations...In the within pages they also make fun of the new President and the extraordinary surprise that one coloured man could become the most powerful man in the world: one guy is taking care of the White House's main door and he's suppose to be there for welcoming the new President. Watching Obama approaching the main door, the doorman says, mistaken: "are you the new gardener? alright, please come in!
